"mommy, i need to go to the hos~ba~pal!"

that is what my son said to me yesterday as tears were pouring down his face! he had just hit his shin on the coffee table and it looked like it was going to leave a pretty big bruise. i have no idea where he got the hospital idea?? 

i did my best to fix it up.... i did a pretend surgery and then a sesame street bandage and then a kiss. that seemed to do the trick and we decided to put off the hospital trip.

ah ~ HA!! just heard them mention the hospital on his new favorite movie... IRON GIANT. that is where he got the idea :)
